COVID-19

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE, BUT ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT.

Here's the latest...

In Los Angeles, we can show homes again!
Mayor Eric Garcetti loosens restrictions on property visits.

Our Mayor has updated the COVID-19 Restrictions, given the health data within the city. He stated that housing units and real property may be shown, provided that appointments and other residential viewings occur virtually or, if a virtual viewing is not feasible, by appointment with no more than two visitors at a time residing within the same household or living unit and one individual showing the unit. This means that you and your husband or wife or partner can come see a house; we have plenty to show, if we have a little scheduling coordination time. If we need to visit a commercial property like a rental unit, in-person visits are not permitted when a tenant occupant is still residing in the residence, unless the owner first obtains the tenant’s written consent.

This does not lift the ban on open houses, but does ease the showing of homes to our buyers. Of course, showings are always up to the comfort-level of our clients.

We are doing our very best to strike a balance and will continue to actively market all listings, including showing properties virtually and and scheduling private appointments by video or very carefully vetted personal tours only. Any in-person appointments will be subject to the approval of the owner. We will also be taking extra steps to vet all potential buyers and be certain they are a fit for the property. If you are in the market, please carefully review all photos and video tours online before confirming any appointments and, if one is scheduled, keep an appropriate distance during the tour.

Again, we are monitoring the situation closely and the health and well-being of all of our neighbors is of utmost concern. We are here to serve you and your family in any way we can, and are just a phone call away.

Local Restaurants:

In the meantime, we are also trying to keep our local businesses in business! Here are five local restaurants who are still serving customers with takeout and delivery:

  • Akasha: AKASHA At Home (Special Menu For Pick Up or Delivery Daily) and 50% wine! akasharestaurant.com 310-845-1700

  • John O'Groats: "We are open for pick-up and delivery orders on the entire menu!" http://johnogroats.us/ 310-204-0692

  • Taco Plus: "Still the freshest Mexican food in town! You just can’t eat it here!" http://www.tacoplus.com/ 310-204-2514

  • The Vegan Joint: Natural, organic, non-GMO vegan food. https://theveganjoint.com/ 310-559-1357

  • Want to splurge and try a restaurant that has a three-month waiting list? Try n/naka. They offer a limited number of bento boxes per day: https://n-naka.com/to-go/

Everyone on this list is taking careful precautions in preparing, packing, and delivery, so while we're all staying home, you can still "eat out."

Stay safe and healthy everyone!
